The Pathological Narcissism Inventory (PNI; Pincus et al., 2009) is a self-report 52-item (28 for its brief form) measure of pathological narcissism. It evaluates two dimensions (grandiosity and vulnerability) and seven facets. The PNI has good psychometric properties and was used in many studies. We present a French version and its validation. 1301 participants were included. Results show that this French version (in complete and short forms) has good psychometric properties in terms of construct validity (factor analysis), reliability (internal consistency), convergent validity (correlations with other personality variables), and test–retest reliability.
